My First attempt drawing L from the Death Note series. In hindsight, I should have gone a little 'poofier' with the hair but overall I am happy with how it turned out. Done in ink and soft pastel for SagaFineArts September portrait contest.
I decided to draw this after recently discovering the show on Netflix and binge-watching. Realizing that the Death Note actually bore a striking resemblance to my own pocket sketchbook, I thought I would draw L stumbling across my notebook.
